Kick off the Hawick Reivers Festival with a lively evening at Western End, with a bar provided by Hawick Callants Club and Raise the Bar. Join us for a full day of activities, from bustling market stalls and youth performances to an encampment showcasing Birds of Prey and historical reenactments. The morning procession, archaeological talks, and school games will add a dynamic mix of history and entertainment, while the torchlight procession and fireworks as night falls promises to be a spectacular close to the day.

Begin the day with a town walk exploring the Teviot’s influence on Hawick’s growth, led by Ian Lowes. Then at 4pm, join us for a high tea at the Rugby Club, complete with a guest speaker in the shape of Billy Young, rounding off the festival with Hawick's unique blend of history and community.
